Otter Crest and West Shore Manor. 1959

CS00637-09. Otter Crest, Oregon. The structure was built as the Banfield Estate, the home of Thomas Harry Banfield (1885-1950), Oregon's highway engineer. After he died in 1950 his home became the West Shore Manor, which is seen in this 1959 view. In 1970 this was demolished and in 1971 the site became the Inn at Otter Crest. Photo July 21, 1959
