Ladd Carriage House. 1953

Y-530316B-01 Ladd Carriage House-exterior. SW Broadway & Columbia. Former carriage house of banker William S. Ladd. Built in 1883, rebuilt into specialty shops and stores in 1926 by L.H. Hoffman Company. In addition to use by Hoffman and other businesses in 1953, it was also utilized for apartments. "Barn exterior with gingerbread is unchanged; original tin roof and still shelters old coachman's quarters in attic."
